This project is a character-driven animated marketing campaign for Dreamy’s mattress-matching app, developed to support the slogan “Dream Better.” The campaign combines illustration, character animation, and motion graphics to communicate the brand’s identity through a narrative-led approach.

A custom baby cow character was designed to reflect the brand’s playful and approachable tone. The character features rounded forms, a chubby body, lopsided ears, and large expressive eyes to establish warmth and personality while maintaining alignment with the brand’s visual language. The colour palette was drawn from Dreamy’s identity system to ensure consistency across all campaign assets. This also established a proprietary mascot for the brand.

The cow was rigged and animated to express playfulness and youth, gradually transitioning into a drowsy state as it delivers the campaign tagline, “I can’t stop dreaming about you.” The animation unfolds within a night sky environment, reinforcing the dreamlike quality of the campaign. As the character becomes increasingly sleepy, the camera pulls back to reveal a bedroom scene where a person is asleep, with the night sky visible through the window. The environment incorporates brand colours and subtle references to “Hey Diddle Diddle,” positioning the character within a moonlit context that appeals across age groups. This connection reinforces the whimsical dreamscape while supporting the mattress and sleep-focused messaging. The sequence concludes with a fade into the brand’s grey tone, transitioning into the Dreamy wordmark and slogan, “Dream Better.” The final animation brings together character, environment, and brand narrative into a cohesive campaign designed to balance functionality with fantasy.
