To support the launch of Dreamy’s new app—which matched users with their ideal mattress based on height, weight, and age—a character-driven animated campaign was developed to embody the brand’s slogan: “Dream Better.”

A sweet, sleepy baby cow was created to reflect the campaign’s cutesy, cartoonish voiceover. The cow was designed with rounded features, a chubby body, lopsided ears, and big dopey eyes to project warmth and approachability without being overly childish. The illustration was rendered in Dreamy’s signature grey, as well as black and white, with accents in the brand’s blue palette (eyes, ears, tail tip, and hooves), visually linking the character to the brand identity. This also established a unique character that belonged to the Dreamy brand.

The cow was rigged and animated to express playfulness and youth, eventually becoming drowsy as it delivered the campaign tagline: “I can’t stop dreaming about you.” The animation unfolded in a night sky, reinforcing the dreamlike quality of the campaign. As the cow grew sleepy, the camera zoomed out to reveal a bedroom scene where a person was asleep, with the night sky visible through the window. The bedroom incorporated brand colors and featured subtle nods to “Hey Diddle Diddle,” positioning the cow in a moonlit context that appealed across all age groups. This connection enhanced the whimsical, dreamscape narrative while reinforcing bedtime and mattress imagery central to the product offering. The scene faded into the grey brand color, creating a soft, ethereal transition to the Dreamy wordmark and the brand slogan: “Dream Better.” This animation tied together the app, product, and brand narrative into a cohesive, emotionally resonant campaign designed to appeal to both functionality and fantasy.
