ABOUT ME
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, ILLUSTRATOR & PHOTOGRAPHER
ARTISTIC STATEMENT
My thirst for knowledge and creativity forms the foundation of who I am— both as a person and as a designer. Having lived in multiple countries throughout my life, I’ve developed a unique ability to see the world through different lenses. This global perspective has deepened my appreciation for all cultures and nurtured a curiosity about the world, its history, and inspired a desire not only to understand different perspectives but also to tell and interpret stories in meaningful ways. That curiosity found expression through photography and television, where I immersed myself in the dynamic world of visual storytelling. These experiences eventually led me to Graphic Design and Interactive Media at Toronto Film School, where I discovered new ways to combine creativity and meaning through visual communication.
Art and Design is a way of understanding the world in a visual and universal language. It has the power to connect with audiences on a deeper level. As a graphic designer, my goal is to create work that resonates: designs that are visually engaging, meaningful, informative, and thought-provoking. While I don’t adhere to a single design style, my work is influenced by modern design principles and grounded in a strong appreciation for traditional art. Illustration has been a passion since childhood, evolving alongside my skills in photography and image manipulation and when to incorporate them within design. These creative outlets continue to shape the way I approach visual storytelling.
Graphic design is not limited, and creativity is endless. With an open and curious mind, I aim to continue exploring, evolving, and pushing the boundaries of design in today’s world. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
